The pharmaceutical, insurance and advertising industries want us to be depressed, unhappy and live in a constant state of fear, anxiety and worry so they can keep selling us pills, policies and gadgets to cure it all, which they can't. They fool the public into believing that government is on our backs, when their real goal is to keep government off their own backs, so they can continue to screw us and accumulate shameful profits.
